EVH 5150 Iconic Series 1x10 Combo Guitar Amplifier

The EVH 5150 Iconic Series provides gigging and recording guitarists an accessible option for obtaining the classic EVH tube tone. Drawing from the renowned 5150III amplifiers, the Iconic amplifiers reproduce the signature searing sound and aggressive gain Eddie Van Halen popularized.

Designed collaboratively by the EVH team, headed by renowned amp engineer, James Brown, this 5150® Iconic® Series 15-watt 1x10 combo features a 6L6 power tube with a complex, multi-stage hybrid preamp section, utilizing ECC83 tubes for heated, modern-day tones. A special internal plywood baffling boosts the cabinet’s bass response, and the custom-designed EVH 10” Celestion® speaker is tailored to the preamp's circuit, providing clean, precise and articulate sounds.

This combo offers exceptional performance with two distinct channels, each containing an additional voicing for further customization. The Green channel contains an overdrive button that produces a range of sounds from clean to high-gain, while the Red channel's burn button produces a high-powered crunch suitable for intense solos.

Each channel comes equipped with separate gain and volume dials, enabling accurate adjustment of levels between the clean and high gain channels. Further, the control panel offers shared EQ (Low, Mid and High) controls, as well as resonance, presence and reverb knobs, providing modifications to the low- and high-end frequencies and total reverberation, respectively.

A one-button footswitch, effects loop, dual parallel speaker output jacks and ¼ power switch give you the ability to crank up the wattage whilst preserving sound and avoiding any disruption of your surroundings. For added convenience, audio in and headphone/recording out jacks enable you to plug in and replicate the signature EVH all-tube sound for direct recording or for use with a PA system.

Sporting distinctive EVH style, the 5150 Iconic Series 15W 1x10 combo is wrapped in either Black or Ivory textured vinyl with a black cloth front grille and features silver and black 5150 and EVH logo badges in the upper left and lower right corners. This all-tube combo is finished off with a brushed aluminum top panel, vintage-style chicken-head knobs and molded black plastic top handle.
