High headroom, super tight tracking and searing tone are the hallmarks of the Mesa/Boogie rectifier series. The Badlander delivers on that and more! Two identical channels can each be set to one of three modes: Clean, Crunch, and Crush. Each channel can deliver sparkling cleans, throaty crunch, or face-melting modern high-gain.
The Mesa/Boogie Badlander 100 features a 3-way power reduction switch, which toggles the amp between 20 watts for low volume clipping, or 50-watts for more headroom. Swapping between EL34 and 6l6 tubes is easy thanks to the bias switch while the Bold/Variac switch dials in the amount sponginess. The built-in Cabclone IR allows you to plug directly into your DAW or mixer for studio or at-home practice sessions.
