Gold Tone ES-Banjitar Electric 6-String Banjitar

Following the success of the Gold Tone Banjitar line, the ES-Banjitar was developed to provide the fast response of a traditional banjo so it could be played like a guitar. Hammer-ons, pull-offs, and slides come out with ease. Even without being plugged in, the ES-Banjitar produces a warm hollow banjo tone from the sound chamber built into the body. Perfect for country, blues, jazz, and other genres, the ES-Banjitar banjo guitar is now a well-accepted instrument in its own right.

Featuring an 8" tone ring and banjo head, dual pickup configuration with a stacked humbucker in the neck and a hidden humbucker beneath the bridge banjo head, Volume & Tone controls, a Straightline tailpiece, a mahogany body and maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, the artificially low string action of the ES-Banjitar makes it a unique 6-string instrument. It has a 25-1/2" scale length, and accepts standard ball-end guitar strings. Each unit undergoes final assembly & complete setup at Gold Tone's Florida Factory, with a left-handed model also available.
