Ibanez BTB Series 5-String Bass Guitar
BTB as a series
The first word that comes to mind when playing a BTB is "Boutique", however Ibanez has defiantly taken a systematic approach to this creating a boutique feeling instrument without that price tag.

Okoume Body
The Larger Winged shaped body allows for more sustain. The Okoume (similar to Mahogany) gives a naturally bright solid tone.
The Okoume wing body provides a bright and solid sound.
Medium Stainless Frets
Stainless Frets are said to never ware out and have incredible durability.
T1 pickups
The T1 pick-up is a humbucker with the coils individually mounted. They give you all sorts of mid puchy-ness while keeping the bass tight and the highs clear. By mounting them individually it allows them to follow the ergonomics of the neck and over all flow of the bass
Neck Through
With Neck Through Construction you obtain more sustain and there is no heal for your hand to get stuck on. The transition from the neck to the body is smoother and more comfortable for the player.
MR5S bridge
The MR5S Bridge is completely adjustable for both string spacing and height.
