Paul Reed Smith first created the Custom 24 body style in the 80's and where wood choices and color options have grown the shape still remains the same. The CE family stands for Classic Edition and these guitars are still made in the Maryland Factory. The biggest difference between these and the original "core" is the colors that are available and the neck being bolted on vs. neck thru. This helps bring the cost down and most players won't tell to much of a difference in a mix or band situation. Check out one of these killer guitars today!
