The Perfect Re-Design To A Classic Taylor Acoustic
We at Yandas Music were convinced that the 800 series acoustic guitars from Taylor were the pinnacle of quality and craftsmanship in an acoustic guitar, and could not be improved upon, until now! Newly re-designed, the 800 series acoustic guitars from Taylor boast a host of new features including new wood combinations (Indian Rosewood, Sitka Spruce), a totally redesigned relief route bracing system, and Taylor Expression system 2 electronics.
Taylor Grand Auditorium Body Shape - The grand auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular guitar body shape - equally suited for both fingerpicking and strumming. An original Bob Taylor design introduced in 1994, the "GA" body shape features a full low register, presence in the midrange, and sparkle on the treble strings.
Sitka Spruce - As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era. It's used on 85-90 percent of the guitars that Taylor makes. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking. Sitka spruce is Bob Taylor's personal favorite for an all-around great guitar.
Origin: Northwestern North America (Coastal Rainforests of Alaska and Canada)
