Bliss series cymbals from Dream are cymbals made from an ancient tradition. Every single cymbal is a unique work of art, painstakingly hand forged and hand hammered by the Dream cymbal team. Each Bliss series cymbal features a warmth that beautifully seduces at low volume and thunders with a froth of dark undertones when pushed to the limit. These cymbals come alive, shimmering and wobbling as if the mere touch of human hands excites the cymbal and it can’t wait to get it’s voice out there and sing.
They are exceptionally resilient and slightly soft on the stick. The undertones are warm, rich, dark with an edge of dragon’s breath. Each one is a unique, complex voice that will excite your imagination.
Distinction From Each Size
The new 8" splash is fast and bright like little a firecracker, while the thin 10” splashes are quick to swell, with a short tapered decay. Think Stewart Copeland or early dixieland. The 12” splashes have more body to their rich dark tone with a warm rounded wash. When it’s time to splash - top of the chorus or in a back yard water fight, these splashes are truly blissful.
The Bliss Splash is warm in sound and features tapered lathing so that the edges are thin. This results in a cymbal with fast attack and quick decay perfectly suited for its size.
