Upgraded models of this series, the DXR mkII Powered Loudspeakers, are now available, equipped with a bigger, lighter 1.75” Neodymium HF compression driver for optimal vocal accuracy and musicality. Drawing on the experience of touring loudspeaker pros at NEXO, Yamaha's engineering team has once again implemented improvements to meet the needs of sound reinforcement professionals.
The DXR mkII Series offers reliable, high quality sound for both applications requiring fixed sound systems and mobile live performances. With 1100W of power, a 950W 8" LF and a 150W 1.75" Titanium driver, it takes the DXR Series's renowned clarity to the next level.
This exceptionally compact DXR mkII Series speaker, the DXR8mkII, provides a powerful 1100-watt performance for maximum sound output with superior clarity. When paired with a DXS12mkII subwoofer, you can create an ultra-compact high power sound system.
