This custom edition of the Band of Gypsys Fuzz commemorates Jimi Hendrix with artwork by John Van Hamersveld, remixed by Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration. Featuring a buzzsaw starburst, sunflowers, and psychedelic letters in vibrant colors, it's packed in an MXR mini housing. It's based on the Fuzz Face Distortion Jimi used during his '69 and '70 shows, such as the Band of Gypsys gig. This version is red with white knobs and sports an Octavio® circuit without its famous octave-up effect. After some tweaks, our engineers replicated the original Fuzz Face sound, allowing you to recreate the iconic tones of Hendrix's live shows.
