HELL MELTER
The EHX Hell Melter takes the cult-favorite chainsaw distortion pedal to the extreme. Featuring extended controls and tone selections, such as switching to open clipping and boosting the internal voltage, it allows you to craft a sound that stands out from the crowd. Its design as a high-gain tone has been adopted for the death metal sounds of Entombed and the fuzzy shoegaze of My Bloody Valentine; even David Gilmour has included it in his rig! This pedal contains a Gain and Level control, and its powerful active EQ consists of parametric mids, plus a Dry Level control for blending with bass or other distorted effects. The Boost Footswitch engages an adjustable input gain and volume added to the sound. Finally, the Normal/Burn switch flips between classic chainsaw and the more open clipping options.
