The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH features a slim yet sturdy bolt-on maple speed neck. This neck is designed in the traditional style, with a stunning caramelized finish and enhancements such as graphite reinforcement and a heel-mount truss rod wheel for effortless customization. The caramelized maple fingerboard has a compound radius of 12”-16”, which gradually flattens from the nut to the heel. This allows for lightning-fast and seamless playing, complemented by rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay® side dots for easy navigation.

Designed with the same powerful sound as the originals, the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH is equipped with DiMarzio® pickups - a Model J™ at the bridge for bold punch and a Model P® in the middle for a warm, thick tone and a growling mid-range when pushed. The versatile electronics feature a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a push/pull selector. This selector eliminates the risk of losing sound with a dead battery, as a simple pull on the volume knob bypasses the active circuit and restores sound to the bass without the need for battery power.

A Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut and open-gear tuners combine for stellar tuning stability with improved note punch and sustain.

This 4-string bass is presented in a Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red finish with chrome hardware, cream pickup covers and licensed Fender® Precision Bass® headstock shape.
