Squire Guitars were introduced over 40 years ago to get guitars into the hands of players, beginners and enthusiasts alike at a price point that was more accessible than there Fender counterparts. The first Squire branded guitars were released in 1982 and both then and now they have Fender licensed designs. You will see the guitars you have grown to love from Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Precision Bass, Jazz Bass along with other Squire specific models such as the parallel universe and others.
The Squire 40th Anniversary Gold Edition features all gold hardware including the Bridge, Tuning Machines, and the Control Plate. It also has a Gold Iodized Pick-gaud. On the Squire 40th Anniversary models they have added some really nice details to the neck including a binding and block Perliod inlays.
