Celebrating 30 years with Grammy-winning signature artist Steve Lukather, Ernie Ball Music Man is proud to launch the Luke 4 SSS. Boasting a roasted alder body and figured roasted maple neck, this fourth installment in the series includes custom Music Man pickups, which produce a rich, dynamic sound and a highly responsive performance. The pickups offer an ultra-high output in the low end while still maintaining a clean, clear tone at lower volumes. Like its predecessors, the Luke 4 SSS features a double-cut contoured body, a roasted figured maple neck, 22 nickel frets, 5-way switching, adjustable 12db boost, Music Man vintage floating tremolo, and ships in a Mono case inspired by over a decade of electric guitar string development.

HT SINGLE COIL PICKUPS

The Luke 4 HT single coils can deliver immense, rich low-end power and remain clear and distinct when at low volume. This set of pickups is designed to balance the tonal qualities of all 5 switch positions.

PUSH PUSH BOOST CIRCUIT

The Luke 4 HT preamp boost is activated with a push-push volume knob set at 12dB factory default, but the level can be increased up to 20dB via an adjuster trim pot inside the control cavity, ideal for optimal distortion and intense soloing.

DESIGNED TO PERFECTION

A double-cutaway shape on the Luke 4 provides a balanced, responsive alder body to ensure superior playing comfort. The premium-grade roasted maple neck has a smooth "V" profile, perfectly contoured for a comfortable grip.

SCHALLER LOCKING TUNERS

Equipped with Schaller M6-IND locking tuners in either Chrome or Black, the Luke 4 offers reliable tuning stability.
