Morgan Amps MVP 66
The KT66 is a legendary and often underrated vacuum tube in rock history. Renowned guitarists including Eric Clapton and Angus Young have relied on its sound to create their signature tones and it's no surprise that it produces an immense sound!
The MVP66 utilizes a wealth of pre-existing sounds, delivering immense tones. It has punchy, precise cleans at low gain settings, as well as thick, powerful crunch when the gain is maxed-out. What makes the MVP66's sound great is its sizable and distinct midrange tones, which are calibrated to perfectly blend into the mix. Not only can it achieve extreme volume, but also the perfect comfort-level for any environment.
Experience the magic of KT66 power tubes
KT66 power tubes are beloved by guitarists for their balanced response and smooth articulation. With gain levels turned up, these tubes deliver a massive British-style tone characterized by pronounced mid-range and cutting presence in the mix.
Power Level Control
The MVP66 employs Morgan's iconic "Power Level" circuitry, allowing users to adjust the voltage to the power tubes and consequently the total amplification. A twist of the "Power" knob can set the amp to 1 watt for subdued settings or up to 50 watts for full-on volume. You can easily set the perfect level for your situation and still obtain excellent tones.
Built in Boost
Equipped with a manual toggle switch and a footswitch for remote activation, the MVP66's rear-panel boost control lets users precisely push the amp to perfect levels.
Speaker
At the heart of the MVP-66 combo is a 16-ohm, 12” Celestion G12H75 Creamback speaker that delivers the perfect blend of mid range tones that will cut through any mix. We load this speaker into a void less Baltic birch ply cab that utilizes a fixed baffle to transfer the speaker energy to the entire cabinet. You will be amazed at the amount of bass from this cab.
