Paul Reed Smith 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24
Celebrate with a Limited Edition
The S2 Series was established in 2013 to offer musicians the comfortable fit, superior quality, and meticulous details of Paul Reed Smith instruments in a modern design. At its inception, there were three original models, including the S2 Custom 24. Today, the range has expanded to more than a dozen. To mark its 10-year anniversary, the S2 Custom 24 has been enhanced with improved sound, enhanced aesthetics, and greater value.
The 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 holds to the original specs of the S2 Custom 24, including a maple top, mahogany back, 25” scale length, 24-fret Pattern Thin neck, patented PRS molded tremolo, and PRS low-mass locking tuners. Special features: Cuban mahogany neck, mother of pearl bird inlays, and 85/15 USA-made PRS pickups and electronics. These pickups combine vintage and modern design for clarity and extended highs/lows. Fine-tuned with PRS TCI process, they capture balanced, full-spectrum sound, ideal for modern pedalboard players and amps. Also packs a volume, tone, and 5-way blade switch for the first time in S2 Series.
A limited edition of 1,000 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 instruments will be crafted.
The S2 Series, otherwise known as "Stevensville 2," was introduced in PRS's Stevensville, Maryland shop to offer players instruments of superior quality control and workmanship at an affordable price point. Over the last decade, the S2 Series has been fully incorporated into the PRS Core and Bolt-On lines.
