EVH Limited 5150 Deluxe Ash Electric Guitar

Designed with enhanced playability in mind, the Limited Edition 5150 Deluxe Ash has a comfortably modified "C"-profiled, quartersawn maple neck with a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel and a "hockey stick"-style headstock with an EVH® logo decal. Its modified Strat®-style body has a deeper upper body curve, and its ash body is fitted with an ebony fingerboard with a 12”-16” compound radius, 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays. A hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish completes this guitar.

The iconic striped original had a single humbucker bridge pickup, but 5150 Deluxe is outfitted with a dual humbucker configuration controlled by a three-way toggle. The custom EVH® Wolfgang® Alnico 2 humbucker bridge delivers punch and articulation with sustain and chunky rhythms, while its neck pickup delivers overdrive and endless sustain with articulate cleans. A custom low-friction volume knob has even-volume tapering, and its high-friction tone knob won't move when bumped. It also includes a lower-bout kill switch for stutter effects.

Decked out with a “dive-bomb” certified EVH-branded top-mount Floyd Rose® bridge, the locking tailpiece features fine tuners for each string and a patented EVH D-Tuna® for switching back and forth from drop-D to standard tuning in an instant.
