Yamaha chose a solid Sitka spruce top for their FSX800C for both its look and tone. Sitka spruce has a well-rounded, articulate sound with excellent projection. Nato back and sides
The FSX800C sports a body made from nato. This wood is really impressing strummers at Sweetwater for its warm tone that is very reminiscent of mahogany.
