About Dan Hello! I’m Daniel Gibbs. I’ve been teaching music in schools for 8 years. I received my B.M. in K-12 Music Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2015, my M.A. in Music Education from Kent State University in 2020, and M.S. in Curriculum Design and Instruction from Peru State College in 2022. I enjoy working at Bryan Elementary School in Lexington, where I teach general music to Kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as beginning band.
About KatieKatie Christiansen attended Cedarville University in Ohio majoring in keyboard pedagogy. She has 30 years of experience teaching private piano lessons of all ages and levels. Lessons include elements of method, theory, sight reading,composition, improvisation, ear training, technique, music history and appreciation and performance. Also including supplemental classical, pop, Religious and Holiday pieces.
About AdamAdam Eschliman graduated from the University Of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Music Business. He has been teaching guitar and trumpet lessons for several years through Yandas Music where he also works full time as the online sales manager. Adam has performed in several rock and stage bands including Meltdown, Stop 30 Road, Wrong Way Jack various UNK ensembles, and can currently be seen playing with "The Phil Koubek Project" and "The Lawnmower Dogs" Experienced in rock, blues, and country. Adam teaches everything from the very basics to the more advanced scales and theory, mixing in plenty of fun stuff along the way.
About IssacIssac has been playing guitar for over 15 years. He currently performs country-rock style guitar live with both the Ashton Dugan Band and The Emmett Bower Band. Issac began performing guitar seriously with his hometown of Lexington's jazz and pep bands, and continued on to play with a variety of local rock and hard-rock groups. He has experience with digital recording, composing, and mixing. Issac can help you acquire the virtual, physical, and mental tools you need to create your own music, as well as learn the practical skills expected of today's working guitarist!

About Brenda Giggle, play, sing, dance, snuggle, learn & grow with your child at Kindermusik! Classes for Birth - Kindergarten. Brenda Rohrich was inspired to play the piano at an early age by her Grandfather who played by ear and could make a piano sing. Brenda took lessons through her grade and high school years and throughout college and began giving lessons as a junior in High School. She is a past Vice President and President of Kearney Area Music Teachers Association. By day, Brenda serves as Deputy Treasurer of Buffalo County. Private piano lessons with Brenda will include theory, technical exercises, and lesson mechanics. Supplemental music will be included to balance the program including seasonal music, classical, hymns, and popular music. Once a month, students participate in Group Lessons which include performance technique, composers and music history. Group Lessons allow students to meet others who strive toward similar musical goals and can encourage one another to pursue excellence. Performance opportunities include recitals, talent shows, festivals, workshops and performance parties. About KarlaKarla Ritter-Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Kearney State College. Her principal area of study was Flute and Piano. She began giving lessons while still a student there and discovered it was her vocation and love. She also volunteers with the bands and orchestras at Horizon and Sunrise Middle School as well as Kearney High School.
About ThomasThomas Prentice graduated from University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Piano Performance. He teaches all levels of piano players from beginners just starting out to advanced musicians with years of experience. Thomas also teaches in various styles ranging from Classical to Neo Soul and Jazz/Contemporary. Additionally, he offers lessons in Tonal Harmony and music theory.
About BellaBella Hoppens graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Piano Performance with Pedagogy Emphasis as well as Music Education. She has provided private piano instruction for both children and adults since her late teens. Lesson curriculum includes theory, technique, improvisation, composition, sight reading, ear training, and performance practice.
About MikeMike began playing guitar when he was in elementary school. His early days of music included playing electric guitar for a hometown rock band. As time progressed, Mike became interested in acoustic music with early influences including Doc Watson, Clarence White and Tony Rice. He soon traded the electric guitar for the banjo and began studying Bluegrass. He took private lessons from Steve Hanson, a professional musician from Lincoln, Ne and attended workshops from other great Bluegrass musicians including: Alan Munde, Tony Trischka, Bela Fleck, Pete Wernick, and many others. His love and respect for Bluegrass Music also inspired Mike to also study mandolin. Mike was a member of the Turtle Creek Bluegrass Band, which was on the Nebraska Arts Council Touring Guide for over 20 years. He is also a member of the local group, Miles From Dublin, playing a variety of stringed instruments in the Celtic tradition. He currently is available for lessons on the 5-string banjo, mandolin and acoustic guitar.

Tricia brings a rich love of children and music to the Kindermusik class and has been serving families in Kearney as a Licensed Educator since 2007. Her experiences include: a B.S. in Elementary Education, teaching preschool, administrating church related preschool and children's departments, directing preschool and elementary Christmas musicals, and offering private piano lessons. As well as having four children of their own, she and her husband have been involved with full time youth and children's ministries for over 27 years. This year Kindermusik with Tricia earned the status of Maestro given by Kindermusik International to the top 5% of programs worldwide.
About DaveDave Lerbakken has been teaching private guitar/bass/and trumpet lessons since 1998. Dave earned his B.S. in Music Business from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. While playing professionally in bands in Nebraska for 20 years, Dave has shared the stage with Journey, Big N Rich, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Kansas, and many other legendary artists. Dave has been privately taught by famed bassists Victor Wooten (bassist for Bela Fleck) and Steve Bailey (soloist and studio musician), both regarded as two of the best in the industry. Specializing in beginning and intermediate guitar and trumpet lessons, Dave can teach all levels of bass guitar as well. Ages can range from 7 to 100.
