"Soft V" Neck Profile

The Soft V Neck on Clapton's signature model gives a comfortable fretting-hand feel by softening a traditional '50s V shape, making it rounder and easier on the hand. 

TBX Tone Control

TBX (Treble Bass Expander) circuitry is included in this stratocaster, with a special controlling knob. The knob has a detent when in the middle position; roll it clockwise to remove lower frequencies, and counterclockwise to roll off higher frequencies.

Active Mid Boost

Meanwhile, the second tone control knob acts as an active mid-boost control. Rotating the knob clockwise will increase mid and bass range while lowering treble frequencies.
