Unlike its other wireless transmitter counterparts, the GLXD2/B87A utilizes a rechargeable lithium ion battery that can be charged directly in the receiver. Condenser style microphone cartridge creates crisp, clear, studio quality vocal reproduction. Supercardioid polar pattern has a more sensitive directional response that is ideal for situations where vocal clarity is at risk or where vocal clarity is of utmost importance.
