Sunn O))) and EarthQuaker Devices proudly present the Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3. This pedal's circuitry has been carefully optimized to provide maximum distortion. The octave section has been refined to increase prominence without compromising bass, and the inclusion of a 3rd footswitch outfitted with Flexi-Switch Technology® enables fast, dramatic tonal sculpting. We revel in the return of this circuit to permanent production and are eager to share it with the world.

• The Octave knob allows for mixing in of the analog octave as it is adjusted clockwise.
• Rotate the distortion knob clockwise to increase distortion, and counterclockwise to diminish it. This offers up to +60dB of gain.
• This low pass filter features a frequency response range of approximately 500Hz to 30kHz. By turning the knob counterclockwise, users can access more high-end tones, and clockwise motion yields a less bright sound.
• Amplitude: Adjustable output volume for the octave distortion; clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease.

• Clipping Switch:

  • OpAmp: No diodes to allow for full, grinding OpAmp assault at maximum volume.

  • Asymm: Utilizes two silicon diodes and one LED in an asymmetrical clipping configuration. This delivers a slightly compressed and smooth crunch, similar to a valve amplifier.

  • Symm: This is the stock double silicon diode configuration which provides that classic tone you know and love.

• Magnitude: Adjust the output volume of the booster by turning the knob clockwise to increase it, and counterclockwise to decrease it. Unity is approximately 12 o'clock.
