The LTD MK-EC FR Electric Guitar is Petrozza's latest addition to his Signature Series, boasting a powerful design and aggressive sound that is expected from the acclaimed guitarist and frontman. The MK-EC FR features the classic ESP Eclipse single-cutaway shape, but with its own unique flat-top design that allows for lightning-fast playing. This speed-focused guitar has no bevels, horn scoops, or arm cuts, and features sleek black binding on the body, neck, and headstock. The neck-thru-body construction with a 25.5" scale length, combined with an alder body and three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, provides endless sustain and can handle downtuning with ease. The Macassar ebony fingerboard boasts mother-of-pearl dot inlays, Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.The all-black hardware on the MK-EC FR includes a Floyd Rose 1000 SE double-locking tremolo with stainless steel screws, precise Grover tuners, and a set of direct-mount EMG 81X (bridge) and EMG 85X (neck) active pickups with brushed black chrome covers. These pickups provide exceptional tones that range from open and organic to blistering and intense, and offer a higher dynamic range than you expect from typical active pickups.
