For '69 & '70, Jimi Hendrix was famous for using a distinctive red Fuzz Face Distortion with white knobs at select live performances, such as Live at Woodstock, Live at Berkeley and Live at the Fillmore East. This pedal created a unique, aggressive sound, one that fans have sought to replicate for decades.Dunlop's engineers have discovered this sound was closely linked to an Octavio® circuit without the octave up signal. They thus developed the Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini Distortion, an homage to the legendary pedal. It offers the same sound as Hendrix's original in a more compact form, complete with an AC power jack and LED.
