The EP-3 tape echo unit has become legendary for its musical warmth and organic modulation. But original EP-3s are pricey, hard to maintain, and huge. The EP103 Echoplex Delay gives you all the classic EP-3 tones in a more compact package. With Delay, Sustain, and Volume controls, plus Age mode and other features, you can recreate the EP-3 sound with a simple interface. The Delay control sets the time of repeats from 65ms to 750ms, Sustain dictates the number of repeats, and the Volume adjusts the output level. Age mode darkens the repeats and increases their saturation, flutter modulation, and distortion. The EP103's delay signals are treated with the EP101 Echoplex Preamp tone conditioning, and you can add it to your dry signal for the full EP-3 experience.
