The EHX Flatiron Fuzz combines classic op-amp powered fuzz/distortion with a '70s style circuit and symmetrical hard clipping to evoke the sound of the RAT2™ pedal. Many guitarists consider it an improvement on the original.
The Flatiron Fuzz is highly adaptable. With a low drive setting, it stays relatively clean and adds a subtler, harmonic distortion. As the drive level is raised, it immerses you in a realm of roaring rock and delivers rich, full-bodied sounds.
The Flatiron Fuzz's exemplary sound originates from its traditional late '70s circuitry and symmetrical hard clipping. Comparable to a vintage Rat pedal, the Flatiron Fuzz offers a more desirable result.
