The sleek, slim bolt-on maple neck on the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH features a beautiful caramelized finish, along with a reinforced graphite center and a heel-mounted truss rod wheel for simple adjustments. Its 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard gradually flattens from the nut to the heel, offering effortless playability, while the rolled edges, 20 jumbo frets, and Luminlay® side dots provide a smooth playing experience.

As with the original version, the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH boasts DiMarzio®'s powerful pickups - a Model J™ at the bridge for a well-rounded punch and a Model P® in the middle for warm, fat tones with a mid-range growl when driven. The bass also includes versatile electronics such as a three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with a convenient push/pull selector. The selector eliminates the potential loss of sound from a dead battery, as simply pulling on the volume knob bypasses the EQ's active circuit and restores the bass's sound without needing battery power.

A Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut and open-gear tuners combine for stellar tuning stability with improved note punch and sustain.
