Drawing from decades of wah design and building experience, Dunlop carefully recreated the original Clyde McCoy Wah, faithfully representing its tone and spirit. Their engineers acquired original tooling and machinery from the Thomas Organ Company and Jen Electronica, and used their decades of experience to create a fitting tribute. The hallmark of a wah pedal is its unique vocal quality, but the original Halo inductors of the Clyde McCoy pedal had an issue with microphonic noise. The HI01 Halo Inductor remedied this, preserving the signature sound while eliminating microphonics.
