1. Check-In

When dropping off your instrument, tell us everything and be specific! What issues need to be addressed? Every squeak, buzz, clunk, and "weird thing it only does when you're not looking." The more you share, the easier it will be for us to get your instrument playing well again. We’ll ask for your name, phone number, and physical address, then you’re all set!

No down payment is needed.

Just your trust and your instrument.

Need an estimate?

Yes– Estimates are free! We try to give those the same day, but if our hands are full, give us 1–5 business days to crunch the numbers.

No– If you don’t request an estimate in advance, we will proceed with repairs as long as the cost remains under $100. If it looks like it’ll cost more than that, we’ll contact you for approval—no surprises!

2.  Repair Timeline

We fix stuff in the order it shows up to maintain a fair and organized system. Under normal circumstances, expect a 7–10 business day turnaround, unless your snare drum is haunted or your tuba explodes, in which case we will notify next of kin!

Emergency Repairs—

Big event or performance coming up soon? Tell us! If we can, we’ll do our best to work within your time frame.

Loaner Instruments—

EZ Rent customers may request a loaner instrument while your instrument is in the shop. If you’re not on our EZ Rent plan, ask us about our rental options!

3.  Repair Pricing

Our pricing is based on time, labor, repair supplies, and type of work (chemical cleaning, play condition restoration, the mysterious art of dent removal, etc.). Unless you say otherwise, we’ll use whatever supplies your instrument needs—strings, pads, felts, unicorn tears, etc.

There will be a minimum of $4 in materials fees because, well… glue costs money!

4.  Liability

We treat every instrument with care, but we’re not responsible for any theft, fire, or natural disaster. We also can’t guarantee your lacquer or plating won’t be affected during a repair—it happens, and we’ll always try to be mindful, but some repairs might be visible due to the nature of the work. Think of it as a battle scar.

Before you leave our store, please inspect the repair work. We’re good at what we do but want to make sure all the work done is what you were expecting!

Warranties—

Double-check that having Yandas repair your gear doesn’t void any manufacturer warranties. If it’s a Fender, you’re in luck - we’re an Authorized Fender Service Center, so bring it on!

5.  Pick-Up & Payment

Please pick up your instrument within 30 days of being notified of the repair being completed. If not picked up within this timeframe, the unpaid invoice may accrue finance charges of 1.5% per month unless other arrangements are made.

We cannot release instruments until payment is made in full. Yandas accepts cash, credit card, check (with a valid driver’s license provided), Apple Pay, and possibly tacos!

6.  Abandoned Instruments

According to Nebraska law (§69-1321), if you leave your instrument here for more than 180 days after the work is completed it will be considered abandoned and legally become ours. We’ll do everything we can to reach you first, but please… come get your stuff!

Thank you for trusting us with your gear! If you have any questions or concerns, give us a call, stop in, or send a carrier pigeon.
