The EVH Wolfgang Special is built for players who demand fast playability, powerful tone, and rock-solid performance. Designed to Eddie Van Halen’s exacting specifications, this guitar delivers aggressive sound, effortless control, and exceptional comfort whether you're on stage, in the studio, or practicing at home.

The Wolfgang Special features a basswood body with an arched top and graphite-reinforced baked maple neck carved to Eddie Van Halen's specifications. The 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets with pearloid dot inlays and a convenient spoke wheel truss rod adjustment. Custom EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups deliver dynamic voicing and sustain. The Floyd Rose locking trem and locking nut maintain precise tuning through extreme pitch changes, while the EVH D-Tuna system drops to drop-D with accuracy. Volume and tone controls feature Bourns pots—the volume includes a treble bleed circuit for smooth swells. Available in Smoked Mesquite, Caution Yellow, Ivory, and Stealth Black with ebony fingerboards, plus Gloss Black with baked maple fingerboard. Includes EVH Wolfgang Striped Series Gig Bag.
