The NUVO Clarinéo, a clarinet in the key of C, is perfect for new players aged 4 to 12 years. Its smaller size and lighter weight reduce the physical difficulty of playing the B♭ clarinet, encouraging young musicians to engage more with the instrument and build the skills they'll need when they transition to the B♭ clarinet. With the same fingering system as the B♭ clarinet, the transition is swift and seamless once they're ready. This model emits a warm, rich sound like a traditional clarinet, and is capable of playing a full 3½ octaves chromatically, enough for Mozart's Clarinet Concerto! There are plenty of materials to learn from on WindStars, and its classroom-friendly design, in combination with the jFlute and jSax, makes it ideal for ensembles. Each Clarinéo kit contains two NUVO synthetic reeds and a cane reed.
