This pair of T2 Cartwheel timpani mallets reflects Vic Firth's 50 years of experience as a solo timpanist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. At Sweetwater, we've found that the soft feel is excellent for soft rolls and legato strokes. They produce a very rich and warm sound. These mallets are made from a single piece of rock maple to eliminate rattling. You can't go wrong with T2 Cartwheel timpani mallets for an accurate and soft touch.
